Tho Ha
About 48km from Hanoi, Tho Ha ancient village in Van Ha commune, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province, is considered as a land of "human genius", famous throughout the country for its pottery and pure Vietnamese ancient architecture.

The art of pottery in Tho Ha has flourished since the 14th century. This is one of the three oldest ceramic centers of the Vietnamese, next to the pottery village of Phu Lang (Que Vo, Bac Ninh) and Bat Trang (Gia Lam, Hanoi). Products from this craft village were once well known worldwide. Pottery was then the main source of business in the village during the early 90s of the 20th century.
